I’ve got a jam-packed weekend ahead of me so let’s get to it!
1) Gabrielle Union in Rosie Assoulin
Gabrielle Union kept it sunny and bright in a yellow number by Rosie Assoulin as she graced the red carpet for the Tribute of African-American Achievements in Television event. Her dress features bell sleeves, a flared silhouette and (of course) insane color. Gabby chose to keep her accessories simple while donning a pair of black sandals. Love it!
2) Lupita Nyong’o in Gucci
Actress Lupita Nyong’o ‘broke the internet’ after she was papped at the La Tete Haute movie premiere for the 2015 Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony. The style maven served up pure elegance in a custom Gucci gown that was nothing short of twirl-worthy. With a plunging neckline and floral embellishments, she was an absolute vision.
3) Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad
Jennifer Lopez loves a sheer dress, doesn’t she? The singer/actress made an appearance on the American Idol Finale in a Zuhair Murad stunner from his Fall 2015 collection. It seems that this her go-to style when it comes to gowns, but she rocks it sooo well!
4) Cicely Tyson in B. Michael
The legendary Cicely Tyson was also spotted at the Tribute to African-American Achievements in Televsion soiree. The incomparable beauty rocked a two-toned B. Michael jacquard gown, an enviable ‘fro and a structured neckline. I absolutely loved this look, she’s giving me all kinds of life!
5) Fan Bingbing in Ralph & Russo Couture
This woman is quickly becoming one of my favorite red carpeters (lol, is that a word)! Anywho, the lovely Fan Bingbing blessed us as she shut it down in a Ralph & Russo floral embroidered gown. The statement-making dress also features a train, a mermaid silhouette and off-the-shoulder sleeves.
6) LaLa Anthony in Balmain
Well, LaLa Anthony took to Instagram once again showcasing her bold style in a geometric wonder by Balmain. Her bodycon dress boasts loads of color and an accentuated waistline. The starlet also uplifted a pair of the brand’s Hopi Leather Sandals. Hot!
