Beyoncé and Jay Z have shelled out the big bucks for “La Casa de Castille,” according to Variety. The mansion, located in the heart of the Garden District in New Orleans, is also a former church.
Because of course that’s where they would live.
At 13, 292 square feet and listed at just $2.6 million (a real steal compared to their New York City penthouses), it’s absolutely exquisite.

A little more about the rumored future home of the Carter family. It was built-in the middle of the Roaring Twenties, in 1925. It was first a place of worship for Westminster Presbyterian Church. In later years, it housed the ballet studio, Ballet Hysell. Definitely Beyhive approved.
Being in the Garden District, Bey, Jay and little Blue Ivy
will have prime access to New Orleans' most popular areas, not to
mention a great hangout location for Mardi Gras. What's more, the home
is near Solange Knowles' own homestead in the city and her French Quarter boutique, Exodus Goods. Perhaps some quality family time will be in order!
