Kate Hudson sure knows how to rock a good jumpsuit.
Kate always knocks it out of the park, and we especially have to commend her for her consistency and mastery of cool-girl style over the years. One wardrobe mainstay, especially as of late, for Kate: the jumpsuit.

Even in a flashy, red version Kate manages to maintain her signature, boho vibe. Off model, a deep-V, sequin-encrusted one-piece, quite frankly, looks a little costume-y. To make it cool like Kate, let the jumpsuit do the talking, but offset it with trendy details. Metallic accessories are an instant update and a no-fuss, undone hair twist strikes a balance between casual and dressy.
Once you reach a certain age, frills can feel, well, frivolous, so allow Kate to school you in the art of ruffles. Ruffles are innately girly, so a jumpsuit in a blush-pink color is the right idea. Constricting the ruffles to just one area (along the bust, in this case) is flattering and doesn't take the trend too far. Dainty jewels and a romantic, high bun keep the look soft and flirty.
A long, duster coat over a wide-leg jumpsuit feels counter-intuitive, but somehow this look works. To veer away from looking swallowed by fabric, a wide-strap, leather belt will break up the look. Since the entire ensemble is black, be sure to mix up the textures like Kate does with her leather lapel.
