Cool Online Find: Black Boy Place.
People can’t wait to get their hands on whatever Jay Z and Beyoncé are wearing!
One brand they’ve grown quite fond of is French streetwear label Black Boy Place:
Founded in 2010, the brand is clearly influenced by Hip Hop. They emblazon snapbacks, leather-accented hoodies, and even iPhone cases with graphics like “New Rules”, “Yeezy”, and Will Smith caricatures.
You might recognize some of BBP’s designs already, as they officially created all of Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail Tour gear.
Their latest collection titled Black Excellence celebrates African-American icons including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Michael Jordan, President Barack Obama, and more.
The hip hop set loves leather and exotic skins like so much of the fashion industry, thus the brand captures the trend on short-sleeve t-shirts, tanks, and half-zip styles.
I can’t wait to get my hands on the $76 Yes To Ambition and $40 3 Étoiles Beanie. Though they’re on-trend now, they’re still punchy yet timeless enough to be worn for seasons to come.
Prices start at $40 for iPhone cases and knit beanies, topping out at $485 for the brand’s python-brimmed snapbacks.
Shop the brand’s full assortment for women here and men here.
