The 2014 Independent Spirit Awards.
How many red carpets must celebs grace in one week? Doesn’t it get tiring? Can’t producers of these events just lump ‘em all into one ceremony and call it a day?
Ah no, because then we wouldn’t have a consistent onslaught of style. Thankfully the 2014 Independent Spirit Awards brimmed over with fashionable moments.
Let’s take a look! Paula Patton looked fresh faced and saucy in a Lorena Sarbu yellow lace dress and nude pumps. This is one of her better looks!
We can’t get enough of Lupita! The leggy beauty looked bomb in a Stella McCartney jumpsuit and Casadei pumps.
Her 12 Years A Slave costar Chiwetel Ejiofor posed with girlfriend Sari Mercer in a sharp blue suit.
Forest Whitaker and Keisha Whitaker cut a fine form, with Keisha in all black, and Forest in a purple jacket, black pants, and Christian Louboutin Rantus Black and grey tartan high top sneakers.
There’s something I really like about Cate Blanchett’s Roksanda Ilincic dress and Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. Refreshingly unexpected, yet chic!
Beautiful Zoe Kravitz was a muse for Alexander Wang’s eponymous label, so it only makes sense she would be a a poster girl for Balenciaga. Yet another out the box oufit that totally works.
Krysten Ritter is selling this Versace dress, child. Everyone ain’t able, but she works it. Hot!
The color of Reese Witherspoon’s Giambattista Valli dress played well against her blue eyes. A Christian Dior clutch and Christian Louboutin shoes tied everything together.
Rosario Dawsdon did a bit of colorblocking in a Narciso Rodriguez number.
Hot couple alert! Matthew McConaughey and wife Camila Alves made for a stunning duo, with Matthew in Dolce & Gabbana, and Camila in Juan Carlos Obando.
Is Jared Leto scheming to get with our girl Lupita? During his acceptance speech, he apparently said, “I want to thank all the women I’ve been with and all the women who think they’ve been with me… and my future ex-wife Lupita.” Hmm, who knows, but they’d sure make for a cute couple!
Michael B. Jordan skewed exceedingly dapper in head to toe Dolce & Gabbana.
And lastly, my favorite look of the night might have to go to Melonie Diaz, who kept it colorful in Preen. This dress is adorable!
Who do you think was best dressed at the Independent Spirit Awards?
