The fashion industry is missing out on it’s most important aspect right now according to Tom Ford: Rihanna’s instagram. “Something new is happening that I’m just clueing into now—this probably won’t go down well—but customers don’t care any more about reviews or hard-copy publications,” Ford said in an interview. “They care what picture Rihanna just Instagrammed while she’s naked in bed, what new shoes she has on, how she’s talking about them. Well, technically, the E! star was already active on both social media sites, although she has now added Kanye West's surname to her profile pages.
The two tied the knot in a lavish ceremony, surrounded by approximately 200 of their closest family and friends on Saturday, and it looks like Kim just couldn't wait to take her man's last name, as the newlywed continues to post pics from the duo's special day with the caption, "Mr. and Mrs. West."
In October, the 33-year-old beauty told E! News that she planned to take Yeezy's surname after the gorgeous couple made it official.

Dr. Dre Is All Smiles After Apple Buys Beats Electronics for $3 Billion.

He's still D.R.E, but with some extra cash in his pocket.
E! News has confirmed that Apple has agreed to acquire Dr. Dre's streaming music service Beats Music, and Beats Electronics, which makes the popular Beats by Dre headphones, speakers and audio software for a cool $3 billion. Dre and his Beats co-founder Jimmy Iovine will reportedly get $2.6 billion in cash and $400 million in Apple stock.
Additionally, the two business partners also now have jobs with Apple.
Talk about the deal of a lifetime!
"I've always known in my heart that Beats belonged with Apple," Iovine said in a statement. "The idea when we started the company was inspired by Apple's unmatched ability to marry culture and technology. Apple's deep commitment to music fans, artists, songwriters and the music industry is something special."
Apple CEO Tim Cook shared a happy photo of the bunch after the sale, tweeting, "Sharing a laugh with Jimmy, Dre, and @cue. Excited to welcome the #Beats team to #Apple. It's all about the music."
Meanwhile, Dre posted a photo of his famous headphones on Instagram with the text, "Here's to the next episode. #AppleBeats," referencing his famous 2001 hit.

Rapper 50 Cent’s baby’s mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, just spilled all the tea on her former boyfriend and baby’s father. In case you missed it, 50 Cent’s son posted an emotional status on his Facebook after his famous father missed his graduation. He was extremely hurt and rightly so. Despite the fact that he and 50 had a big falling-out last year, 50 should have been there for his big day.
While 50 claimed he wasn’t invited to see his son walk across the stage and it was all a ploy by Shaniqua to keep him away, Shaniqua says otherwise. The mother-of-two visited V-103 on Friday and Chile, she told it all! From alleged domestic abuse to 50′s abandonment issues, Shaniqua didn’t mince words.
Coincidentally (or not), the video interview was later removed from the site…too bad the Internet moves faster than lawyers.

Whitney Houston’s Family Furious Over Lifetime Movie In The Making.

Whitney Houston’s family says Nippy deserves better. According to reports, loved ones of the late singer are furious about her upcoming Lifetime movie, insisting she’s too big for the small screen and deserves better.
“Whitney is certainly worthy of more than a television movie,” says Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law and former manager. “If Whitney were here today, this would not be happening.”
The Houston estate is so upset over the made-for-TV film that they’re considering a lawsuit to stop production, TMZ reports. “We’re told the family has already expressed displeasure to Lifetime and made it clear they weren’t on board with a TV movie,” the site writes. “Sources close to the Houston family tell us the estate is planning its own movie for the big screen — ala the “This is It’” Michael Jackson flick.”

Rob Kardashian Skips Wedding over Clothing Spat.

In what i hope is my last bit of news about the KimYe wedding — and no, i don’t have plans on discussing the carriage that the couple took in order to depart from their ceremony, — i now have a possible reason that Rob Kardashian decided not to attend. Reports say that the reason was something very near and dear to The Fashion Bomb: clothes.  Apparently, as everyone prepared for the Valentino brunch on Friday to kick the weekend off, a spat broke out between Rob and Kim as Rob couldn’t fit into any of the samples being provided by the label.  For Kim, Rob hadn’t done enough to lose weight in order to fit into them and for Rob, the entire premise was superficial. While we’ve certainly had a few spats with a trouser or two that just wouldn’t button, one would think that an event as monumental as a wedding would take precedence. (X17)

In addition to Anna Wintour, Beyonce and Jay Z decided not to attend the KimYe wedding! While it was widely reported that Jay Z was expected to play best man to Kanye, during the wedding festivities Beyonce posted an Instagram from the Hamptons. After fans pointed out that she wasn’t at the wedding, the “Run The World” singer also posted congratulations to the betrothed couple. Beyoncé Goes Back to Extra Long Braids—See Her New Hairstyle!

Beyoncé, Beyoncé, let down your long hair.
Bey was spotted out in New York City Wednesday evening with husband Jay Z, sporting some serious Rapunzel-style hair.
Her extra long braids reached well past her waist, and even though she looked fab in a printed top, black skinnies and heels, it was her hair that caught our eye immediately.
And while this is a fresh new hairstyle for the 32-year-old singer and mother to Blue Ivy, it's not an entirely new look. Beyoncé sported the same super long braids earlier this year and posted a pic of her braided style on Instagram in January.

And before that, Bey opted for braids in May of last year when she and Jay-Z celebrated their five year wedding anniversary in Cuba. But that time her braids were brunette (not a lighter caramel like they are now), and she wore them piled high on top of her hair in an updo.
Her sister Solange Knowles also favors the braid look, and while she's sporting a shorter style now, she used to be known for rocking long braids.

Sean Jean Hopes To Hit $1 Billion at Retail.

Diddy. Puffy. P. Diddy. Some times it’s hard to know what to call Sean Combs these days (it’s actually Puff Daddy currently) but next semester some students will be getting to know him a bit better in a course called Sean Combs Urban Culture. The course will study, among other things, Combs’s strategy and serial entrepreneurship and will undoubtedly touch on his 16-year-old apparel company Sean Jean, that has goals of expanding to India, South America, Africa, China and the Middle East and even hitting $1 billion at retail in the next five years.  Basically, he’s trying to be the street’s Jessica Simpson.  (WWD)

Rihanna doesn’t really need to sing, she makes a pretty penny just by going to fashion shows.  Last month Rihanna attended the Dior cruise show in Brooklyn, and if she was paid her industry going rate, she pocketed about $101,000 dollars. Fab life, no? Though it’s widely known that celebrities often get paid to attend shows or do “brand activations” or “endorsements,” I’m not quite sure we knew that for what likely amounts to an hour of their time, celebrities make five times what some people make in a year to watch models parade down the runway. Destiny’s Child fans, get ready for some exciting news! It’s official: Beyonce, Michelle and Kelly have reunited for a new song and music video.
The ladies of DC3 were spotted in Maplewood, NJ yesterday shooting visuals for “Say Yes,” a new track lifted from Michelle Williams’ upcoming project. The song, which features vocals from Bey and Kelly, is an uptempo gospel jam that captures everything we love about the trio.

And if that’s not exciting enough, word on the street is Solange is involved in the low-key project as well! We can’t wait for more deets.

Her black and white striped crop top features drapey short sleeves with unfinished edges and a wide neckline.Her matching stretch jersey maxi skirt showcases a high leg slit at the side, a pencil fit silhouette, and an unfinished hem. Last, but not least is her red calfskin clut[;ch which features a top zip fastening, fringe detailing, the Italian fashion house’s front embossed logo, and a side engraved metal Pisces fish detail. Khloe looked fab! Stripes aren’t always the most flattering pattern for curvy girls, but this look executed the classic print perfectly.
