World renowned for his scintillating gowns, Elie Saab offered unrelenting glamour for his Fall 2014 Couture show, showcasing 50 looks ranging from sequin peppered cocktails to gloriously embellished floor sweeping frocks, fit for a debutante.
A color palette of champagne, bold blues, and blush pink infused pieces, some rendered in ombre effect, all twinkling under the lights with luxurious beads and pearls.
The dresses spoke for themselves and were thus minimally accessorized, save for the occasional fur stole.
Elie Saab is one of the most consistently gorgeous couturiers, and select celebs, including Lupita Nyong’o, Jennifer Lopez, and Rita Ora have already fallen under his hypnotic allure. I’d love to see Beyonce in one of his fantastically beaded creations for a red carpet premiere, and think younger sister Solange could also do his designs justice.
