Hey all! Another Monday, another reason to wish for another day of
the weekend. But before we go lamenting the case of the Mondays, let’s
live vicariously through a few of our favorite celebs: well, the ones
who looked the part anyway. From red carpet moments for charity galas,
to birthday festivities, let’s take a look at who killed it, and who
didn’t meet the mark.

First up, and setting the bar incredibly high is Ashley Madekwe, who smoldered in a rust colored
Wes Gordon gown and
H. Stern jewels
at the amfAR Gala in Milan. The dress complimented her skin tone and
hair so well, and despite it being a simple look, she kept jewels to a
minimum for a more classic aesthetic. Hot!

Next
up is Winonah de Jong, whose Mirrorgram game is superb! She gave us a
double-dose of her wares at the same amfAR Gala while wearing a $1,075
Pierre Balmain dress, $695
Aquazzura ‘Matilde’ pumps and the
Chanel perfume bottle clutch. I love how she always manages to skew modern elegance with just about every look. Hot!

Supermodel
Coco Rocha took time before the Roberto Cavalli show to take a snapshot
wearing none other than a perfectly tailored
Roberto Cavalli
suit. She’s been wearing a ton of bold, eye-catching looks lately, and
I, for one, am not opposed. And isn’t her bob everything?

Mogul
in the making Keke Palmer was spotted exiting her ride while most
likely doing business on her phone. She wore a collared, striped
INC International Concepts
dress with black sandals, giving casual-corporate realness. Youthful,
yet full of sophistication. Perfect look for weekend meetings.

Angela
Simmons celebrated her 27th birthday this weekend with friends in
Miami. One of her looks featured a saucy, see-through poet sleeve dress
by
Clan Fashion Label. I loved the lace detailing at the bottom and the purple accents in the cape of her dress and her $675
Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps.

Another
birthday girl, Laura Govan, celebrated her special day this weekend, by
giving us all a little fever. Just a little. She sported a $158
Bellen Brand longsleeve “Temple” tee, gold sequin pants, and a pair of Christian Louboutins. Cute!

And
last, but certainly not least, is actor Michael B. Jordan, who
represented for the guys on the red carpet this weekend. Looking all
sorts of dapper, he wore a
Hugo Boss
tuxedo and Christian Louboutin shoes. He always looks well
put-together and appropriate for each event he attends, and this look is
testament to that. Fly!
That’s it for this week. Who turned it out for you?
