My gosh, this week flew by too fast! With that, I’m about 85% sure that my weekend will consist of plenty R&R while playing catch up on some of my favorite tv shows (I can’t get enough of How To Get Away With Murder and Tyler Perry’s If Loving you Is Wrong). As I continue to make plans, I figured it’d be best to present you guys with the contenders for the best look of the week!
Let’s get it!
1) Amal Alamuddin in Giambattista Valli
Newlywed Amal Alamuddin has finally made her debut on out Look of the Week feature! The fashionable stunner was papped in a white, floral number by Giambattista Valli. Her ensemble features a high-low hem, embroidered colorful floral details and a structured silhouette. So, get ready, I think we’ll be seeing alot more of this fashionista.
2) Kim Kardashian in Givenchy
Kim Kardashian was the epitome of chic in a custom look from Givenchy. The Paris Fashion Week favorite rocked black-on-black with Givenchy Matilda Sandals. Her fitted suit embodies a classic aesthetic and silk trimming for a sleek yet smoldering effect. With the plunging neckline and her pearl encrusted statement pin, Mrs. West killed it! She looks great, no?
3) Tracee Ellis Ross in Duro Olowu
The ever-so-lovely Tracee Ellis Ross snapped a quick Instagram pic in a Duro Olowu printed floral dress from the Spring 2015 collection. With pink Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps and a bold lip, the Black-ish star shined brighter than a diamond! Her flowy and flirty dress boasts a retro-inspired cut while emphasizing a feminine silhouette. She’s definitely an inspiration. Werk it!
4) Ciara in Givenchy
Am I the only one who thinks Ciara slayed during the entirety of Paris Fashion Week? I mean, my goodness! It was tough to pick just one outfit to feature but, all in all, the girl looks good. After careful examination, I finally decided to select this belted, snake skin Givenchy dress she uplifted during the fashion powerhouse’s Spring 2015 presentation. The singer paired the daring get-up with black strappy sandals and those enviable legs. Get ‘em, Ci-Ci!
5) Marjorie Harvey in Valentino
Marjorie Harvey is bad! The fairer half of revered comedian, Steve Harvey, attended the Spring 2015 Valentino presentation in a green, tulle embroidered dress and nude Chiristian Louboutin So Kate Pumps. This look is sickening – from the detailed floral collar to the intricate design of the overlay – I loved every ounce of it! Mrs. Harvery accessorized with a neutral clutch and mirrored Dior So Real Sunglasses. Talk about a beautiful couple!
6) Jennifer Lopez in Roberto Cavalli
Well, this contender is no stranger to my little feature! Jennifer Lopez was spotted out and about in a black and white Roberto Cavalli cutout maxi dress. With the addition of a black, autumn-ready hat and that gorgeous physique, she literally glowed from the inside out. Her beauty is absolutely mindblowing, isn’t it?
7) Jordin Sparks in Heather by Bordeaux
The newly single Jordin Sparks scorched in a burgundy, fitted knit dress from Heather by Bordeaux. The figure flattering, long-sleeved frock definitely caused a splash on both our blog and our Instagram! With a neutral T-strap pumps and a gorgeous smile, the singer hit the streets in style. Ladies, always remember, looking good is always the best revenge. Go Jordin!
Whew, this one was a doozy!
So, break it to me, who rocked the best Look of the Week?
