Nicki Minaj performed Maya Angelou’s poem ‘Still I Rise’ at the Shining A Light Concert last night in LA in the same $8,959 Balmain Embellished Velvet Dress Jada Pinkett Smith wore to Olivier Rousteing’s 30th Birthday Party:

While Nicki styled the dress with knee high lace up boots, Jada Pinkett skewed simple in Saint Laurent sandals.
The black velvet mini has a panel of fringing falling from the neckline to the hem.

The dress is gorgeous! I’m partial to Jada’s styling. She allowed the dress to truly shine.
