I recently discovered this designer during one of my Instagram binges and I’ve consistently stalked their mind-blowing IG feed ever since.
Christie Brown is a Ghanaian-based women’s fashion brand that strives to cater to “that modern woman who seeks a true taste of Africa“. This dynamic designer combines an effortless use of modernism as well as the traditional African aesthetic which proves to be quite an eclectic sartorial mixture.
Since the March 2008 launch, creative director Aisha Obuobi has continued to produce unique pieces which range from one-of-a-kind gowns to eye-catching accessories. And, it seems the world has already taken notice of this brand’s greatness – while gaining a nod from Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue Italia, the future of Christie Brown Ghana is brighter than ever!
