New year, new hue. Pantone just unveiled their official color of the year: Greenery, a refreshing and revitalizing yellowy-green shade aimed to be symbolic of new beginnings. Pantone, known as the color experts in the world of fashion, scours trends across couture runways to forecast the dominant colors for the year ahead.

According to Pantone, Greenery is bursting forth in 2017 “to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous and social and political environment. Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate and revitalize, Greenery symbolizes our reconnection with nature, one another, and a larger purpose.”
