Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! A few celebs were out and about, but it seemed like more of a celebratory weekend for NBA’s best in New Orleans. From parties, to shopping, to pre-NBA All Star game happenings, stars and athletes brought their A-game and showed off on Instagram, no less. First up is Rihanna headed to dinner at Giorgio Baldi in LA, but not before snapping this seductive pic, wearing nary but a short romper, gold heels, and an embellished coat. Yes, Riri dem, hot!
Cassie posed for a snapshot while shopping on the weekend. Dressed in a white T-shirt and skinny jeans, her Balenciaga Resort 2014 tote completed the all-white motif. Could this be one of spring/summer’s it bags?
Ashanti posted this pic before appearing on 106th & Park. She wore a Proenza Schouler crop top, a pair of $398 Edun Triangle and Chevron Intarsia-knit Pants, and $775 Saint Laurent ‘Janis’ pumps in white. Hmm… cute look for Ashanti, but this ensemble screams “shopping with friends” and not so much “television appearance.”
On to events centered around NBA All-Star Weekend…
Carmelo Anthony took some time to sit with NBA TV while wearing a Carlos Campos sweatshirt that beckons to me.
Chris Bosh attempted to stifle his grin while getting his picture taken. He smartened his camouflage pants with a navy blazer, white dress shirt, brown loafers, and an Hermès tote. I’m actually here for the look, but the “murse” has to grow on me.
Blake Griffin snapped a few pics on the carpet before heading in to Michael Jordan’s dinner on the weekend. The basketball star wore a J. Crew button down and an amazingly tailored Addison Atelier suit. The color complimented his skin tone, and I love the break in the monochromatic theme with the brown belt. Two thumbs up!
Singer Miguel did his best Miley Cyrus impression at GQ’s All Star event. I absolutely love his Saint Laurent studded blazer. But Miguel’s been wearing a lot of black lately. Inject some color so we know it’s real, Miguel!
And last, but not least, is Winonah De Jong. Married to professional soccer player Nigel De Jong, the Dutch beauty has made a name for herself in the fashion world as a style savant. Wearing a Chanel cardigan, Rodarte tee shirt, Chloé pants, Stubbs & Wooten loafers and an Olympia Le Tan clutch, she made weekend casual look oh so chic! No?
