Kevin Hart is on a winning streak at the U.S. box office.
According to reports, the comedian-actor’s new romantic comedy About Last Night came in second place with $27 million this Valentine’s Day/Presidents Day holiday weekend. This marked the second top 10 spot for Hart, whose buddy-cop comedy Ride Along earned $8.8 million to take the sixth spot at the box office.

“I don’t think there’s anyone funnier out there today than Kevin Hart,” said Rory Bruer, head of distribution for Sony. “He’s at the top, and he couldn’t be a nicer or more hardworking guy. He got out there and promoted ‘About Last Night’ really, really hard. The chemistry that he brings to the table is just infectious. You can’t help but wanna take the ride with him.”
About Last Night went neck-and-neck with The Lego Movie and ultimately lost. The film based on the toy brick-building franchise raked up $48.8 million this three-day weekend, bringing its total to $129.1 million.

The third spot went to RoboCop with $21.5 million, followed by The Monuments Men with $15 million and Endless Love rounded out the top five with $13.4 million.
