Khloé Kardashian Wears "F--k Yo Fur" Coat.
Talk about making a style statement!
Khloé Kardashian stepped out for lunch in New York City Monday wearing a floor-length, faux fur look. The words "F--k Yo Fur" were scrawled on the back of her coat in bright red spray paint. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 29, tweeted about her look shortly after hitting the streets, writing, "F--k Yo Fur!!! Fake fur all day, people!!" She also shared a Keek video that gave fans a close-up of the coat.
Facing criticism, the single star felt compelled to explain herself online. "How do people not know that FAUX means FAKE?!? Come on people!" Khloé tweeted. "No I'm NOT with PETA! I stand for kindness. Treat others the way you want to be treated. This includes the ones w/a voice and the ones wo."
"I have my beliefs but I respect the choice of others," Khloé continued. "I don't bully people into sharing the same beliefs as me." The DASH boutique co-owner posed nude for a PETA campaign in 2008. At the time, she blogged, "I am done with fur forever and I have now found so many amazing faux fur lines that are great alternatives for women who love the look and love animals."
Khloé cut ties with PETA after a woman associated with the animal rights organization flour-bombed her older sister, Kim Kardashian, during a March 2012 red carpet appearance. "Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions—I personally don't wear fur, but that doesn't mean I am going to force my view on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them," she blogged at the time. "We all need to practice what we preach. I will still continue to NOT wear fur, but I will no longer support PETA."
"How can u ask 4 non cruelty yet u attack my sister?" Khloé tweeted Monday, hours after dining with Kourtney Kardashian in the Meatpacking District. "No thanks! Won't be apart of your bullying ways."
