Peter Pilotto Fall 2014.
On the heels of their successful collaboration with Target, Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos pushed forward with yet another innovative collection, one anchored by their love of digital prints and abstract geometric shapes, updated by nature inspired florals and frenetic lines.
The duo has evolved, honing in on their core customer who yearns for fresh iterations of their signature aesthetic. For her, they try their hand at knitwear and chic coats that scream for unadulterated attention.
Nature comes in to soften the brand’s architectural lines, with dresses infused with mountain scapes edged by blue and purple skies.
The earthy predilections continue for florals: rainbow colored fleurettes dotting the front of dresses and chic bomber jackets.
And for those truly looking to dazzle, a set of dizzying squiggles, sure to set the next ‘it’ girl’s heart aflutter.
While effortlessly beautiful, the pieces will be hard to wear for several seasons, due to their standout nature. The shoes are certainly swoon worthy. Adding them to my wish list now.
