Rest In Peace Philip Seymour Hoffman.


Philip Seymour Hoffman, the critically acclaimed actor known for his work both in film and on stage, has died.
Hoffman was found alone and unconscious in his New York City apartment on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014. He was 46. The NYPD confirms to E! News that they received a 911 call shortly after 11:30 a.m in the West Village neighborhood.Police sources said that the actor died of an apparent drug overdose. The New York City Medical Examiner will work to determine the exact cause of death.
Hoffman struggled with drug problems in the past and sought treatment for abusing heroin in May 2013.

The acclaimed thespian is survived by his longtime partner Mimi O'Donnell and their three children, daughters Tallulah and Willa and son Cooper.
