Fashion Scoop: Naomi Campbell Did Not Fight Cara Delevingne Over Rihanna, Zoolander 2 Announced at the Valentino Fall 2015 Show, Lancome Collaborated with Anthony Vacarrello.
- Starting early this morning, the press were batting around reports
that Naomi Campbell and Cara Delevingne got in a shoving catfight in a
club in Paris. According to those reports, it all had something to do
with Rihanna. The rumor goes that the two traded words and then
Campbell shoved Delevingne, which led to Cara tugging on Naomi’s weave!
Campbell cleared up the rumors via Twitter, which Cara retweeted.
Someone familiar with the situation came to her defense saying if any
shoving happened it was because the club was small and the table was
busy. (Vogue UK)
- Missoni is in expansion mode and their next area: children’s
clothes. Margherita Missoni is leading the charge with a line named
after her. Sold only through Yoox.com, the line will likely be a
competitor’s to Karl Lagerfeld’s impending children’s collection and
have the same “boho elegance and charm” the mainline does. (StyleBlazer)
- Though we were only just talking about the lack of diversity at New
York Fashion Week attendee-wise, let us not be mistaken, there is a
little bit. One writer of color at the shows happened to be Jascmeen
Bush who took the opportunity to try out a beautiful afro wig in order
to cope with her fledgling naturalista hair skills. The result, some
self-conscious shame as she saw the community look down on girls who had
decided to go the wig route instead of living the natural journey in
full. Where do you fall on the issue? Fake it till you make it or live
with what you’ve got? (Racked)
- You heard right, Zoolander 2 is coming! The only thing
splashier than the Chanel Brasserie show on Instagram out of Paris
Fashion Week this morning was the appearance of two men at the Valentino
show. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson aka Derek Zoolander and Hansel
McDonald made an appearance as a surprise, official announcement that
Zoolander 2 would be out February 12th, 2016. I’m frankly overjoyed. (The Daily Front Row)
- Anthony Vaccarello is having a moment. With the Versus label under
his belt as well as his own, the French designer has more news to
announce: a Lancome collection. Set to debut in October, the line will
be the designer’s first beauty venture. (Fashion Insight)
