In the blink of an eye it will be 2016. It’s hard to believe Christmas is almost here when, just yesterday, it seemed like Steve and I were taking our two youngest children to college to begin their freshman year.
I recently posted a #TBT picture of Lori and I from not long after she was born. Time flies: We’ve heard and used this expression a gazillion times. It not only flies when you’re having fun, but it flies period, so you may as well make the most of life’s most meaningful moments while you can. The feeling of fleeting time serves as a subtle yet powerful reminder that life changes constantly, whether we are paying attention to its adjustments or not. The reality is that as it progresses, the only true thing we can take with us from one chapter to the next is our precious memories.
There are so many wonderful ways to commemorate a special occasion: You can take a photograph, journal the moment, or tell those involved how much they mean to you! Whichever you choose, make sure to create lasting memories and make them count because before you know it, life will have passed you by.
