This First Look at Empire's Lyon Family in Season 3 Is Too Fabulous

We may still have to wait over a month to find out what happens next on Empire, but we don't have to wait at all for more of the Lyon family, or for more of Cookie's clothes.
You can get your first look at season three with this new photo of the fictional music industry's most dysfunctional family, exclusive to E! News, and so far it looks like season three is going to be just as fabulous as usual.

Of course, there's a lot going on when Empire picks back up next month. The season two finale had Jamal (Jussie Smollett) taking a bullet for Lucious (Terrence Howard), Lucious marrying Anika (Grace Gealey) for legal purposes, and either Anika or Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) falling to their presumed death off of a balcony.

Deaths, sham marriages, and bullets are just par for the course on this show, but that doesn't make us any less excited to find out what's in store for season three.
Now, if Taraji P. Henson could let us know where Cookies buys her sparkly leggings, we'd be even more prepared for when Empire returns on Wednesday, September 21 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
