Celebrity Weekend Cuteness.
Happy Met Gala Day/Cinco de Mayo!
Fashion’s version of the Academy Awards are here and I’m super excited!
This weekend was jam-packed with events from the NBA Playoffs to the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner. The ladies got gussied up in ankle-strap sandals, strapless dresses, glittering baubles, and so much more.
Let’s get into the ensembles shall we? Beyoncé and Jay Z took in the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors playoff game this weekend. I love B’s blonde hair, but she also looks fab as a brunette!
Before hitting the red carpet at the 100th Annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, Lupita Nyong’o was in attendance at the 2014 Annual Garden Brunch in a strapless silk dress from Giambattista Valli’s Fall 2014 collection. She’s always so stunning.
The Face judge Anne V skewed sultry in a white sheer panel number.
Scandal FLOTUS Bellamy Young went bold in a blue draped dress and colorful strappy sandals at the brunch. She always lands at the top of my best dressed list!
Selita Ebanks added some edge to her peplum-detailed dress at the React To Film Awards with an ear cuff and studded leather jacket.
Marjorie Harvey served voluminous curls and embellishment at the 2014 Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation Gala in Chicago. Mr. Harvey looked dapper in a navy suit jacket, black bow tie, and black trousers. This is the best I’ve ever seen him look!
Holly Robinson was pretty in pink at the fête while Cookie Johnson and business maven Vicki Palmer went edgy in all-black ensembles. Cookie’s dress was fabulous.
I expected a bit more glamour from Cynthia Bailey, but I did enjoy her beige seamed frock.
I’ve been waiting for another Kangana Ranaut moment since the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 fashion show! The Indian actress was the belle of the ball at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne Awards in a strapless Dior Spring 2014 dress. I really need to see her out and about more often.
Mindy Kaling opted for an asymmetric neckline, draped tie-waist Escada gown at the New Yorker White House Correspondents’ Dinner Weekend Pre-Party.
Nicole Murphy showed off her enviable figure at the 140th Kentucky Derby in a burgundy figure-skimming number, wispy black hat, and t-strap pumps. This is the hottest Derby look I’ve ever seen!
Angela Bassett offset her turquoise sheath with a white fascinator for the day.
Kate Bosworth traipsed through the streets of NYC in a Nina Ricci Fall 2014 croc-print turtleneck and pencil skirt, offset by $500 Kurt Geiger Brent Pumps. Chic no?
Who had your favorite look this weekend?
