Alexander McQueen Admitted To Having HIV.

According to a new book, the late Alexander McQueen admitted he was HIV positive prior to committing suicide in 2010. In the book Champagne Supernovas, Maureen Callahan reports that McQueen told friend Chris Bird a few years before his death and that his status was one of the many factors that drove the designer to commit suicide. Supernovas is out today and talks about Kate Moss, Marc Jacobs, and Alexander McQueen, the 90s renegades who remade fashion. (Page Six)
