Bobbi Kristina Brown's loved ones came together Friday evening for the 22-year-old's wake in Atlanta.
Whitney Houston's mother Cissy Houston and Pat Houston were seen arriving together at the funeral home around 6 p.m. to say their unimaginably difficult goodbyes.
Meanwhile, Bobby Brown and his wife Alicia—along several other members of the Brown family—were seen waiting in the cars as the Houstons were inside the home.
Upon their departure, per People, Bobby and Alicia made their way inside to see Bobbi Kristina.
A funeral service will be held at St. James United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. tomorrow morning, according to NBC affiliate WXIA.
  There will be a burial in New Jersey on Monday.
It has been five days since Bobbi Kristina passed away, after nearly seven months in a comatose state stemming from a January 31 incident where she was found unconscious in a bathtub at her home.

Naomi Campbell Sentenced to Six Months in Prison for Assault on Paparazzo in Sicily

Naomi Campbell was convicted of assault by a Sicilian court Friday for scratching a paparazzo's eye in August 2009.
The model was given a six months suspended prison sentence, according to Britain's Telegraph, which her lawyer has vowed to appeal.
"We are appealing the ruling surrounding the 2009 incident," attorney Guido Carlo Alleva said in a statement obtained by E! News. "Due to the ongoing legal process, we cannot discuss the matter further at this time."
Per the Telegraph, the incident occurred when the photographer, Gaetano Di Giovanni, was snapping pictures of the model with her then-boyfriend, Russian billionaire Vladimir Doronin, as they stepped off their boat in the Sicilian town of Lipari. Di Giovanni took photographs of the couple as they strolled through the narrow streets and did some sight-seeing, when Campbell hit him with her purse.

The presumably designer handbag ended up scratching Di Giovanni's eye, causing him to seek medical treatment and take three days to recover from the injury.
"I had just started taking some shots of her and I did not expect such a violent reaction," he said in 2013, after Campbell was ordered to stand trial in Italy, according to the Telegraph.
The model's attorneys then reached an agreement with the photographer and he withdrew the charges; however, according to Italian news agency Ansa, prosecutor Francesco Massara ordered the trial to go ahead in the public interest due to the intensity of the charges.
Of course, this wasn't the first time Campbell had a run-in with the law.

Recently, he starred in an emotional episode of the original docu-series, Secret Lives Of Americans (on Pivot, Friday, July 24). The point of the series is for the star to video record themselves telling the people in their lives their big secret they’ve been holding on to years. Cayes’ secret was that he was assigned female at birth and for the past six years has been living as a man.

Cayes’ parents weren’t accepting when he first came out and he hadn’t told his co-workers about his transgender status, but when Cayes recently read an article about a young transgender person who committed suicide, he decided he couldn’t keep his secret any longer. He didn’t want transgender people like him to feel they need to be ashamed of who they are and he didn’t want to live in the shadows any more.
Cayes is a resident of Long Beach, CA and works full time as a behavior interventionist at an elementary school and part time as a “manny” for a local family. He loves working with kids and didn’t want anything to jeopardize his opportunity to do so, but Cayes had a secret and he was worried that telling it might affect the way people perceived him.
After watching Cayes’ powerful episode of Secret Lives Of Americans, we reached out to him to gain insight on what life is like as a Black trans man and how it feels to release his secret.

For instance, warm tones (which we see on stars like Eva Mendes) have yellow or olive undertones. "Warmer tones want to wear richer colors that pop, such as rich tans or creamier pinks," the expert explained. You also want to stay away from neutrals that have too much yellow. Generally speaking, "stay away from anything that matches or closely resembles your skin," she added.

Jamaica Will Actually Hold Its First LGBT Pride Celebration In August

Jamaica is set to hold its first pride celebration next week. Security concerns prevent a parade, but organizers have planned a full week of events. This is monumental because Jamaica is a country that is known for extreme homophobia. According to the Human Rights Watch, Jam Rock’s LGBT population lives in constant fear, and anyone who listens to (and understands) dancehall may be familiar with anti-gay sentiment in a lot of the music where many artists make references to “burning the chi chi man,” etc. Marriage between men is is also illegal in the country, which is a holdover from British Colonial law.
However, the festivities will commence from August 1-8 in the nation’s capital city, Kingston. This is also concurrent with Jamaica’s Emancipation and Independence celebration. Festivities will include a flash mob, an opening ceremony, an art exhibition, an open mic night, a flag raising ceremony, and a coming out symposium that will feature allies to the community, reports the Advocate. 
“We will pause the negative vibrations from anti-gay lobby groups and focus on the strides we have made as a community. More importantly, we will recommit to initiatives that see us moving forward as one community,” said  Latoya Nugent, the associate director of the Jamaica Forum of Lesbians, All-Sexuals and Gays (J-FLAG).

"After seeing so many people suffering from obesity related diseases like heart disease, diabetes and the side effects of the medication they were taking, I was strongly motivated to research what actually causes people to become obese, it clearly was not just the fat they were eating!" he wrote. "I actually discovered that a trigger factor for many widespread diseases of the west such as obesity, heart disease and diabetes could be closely linked to the consumption of one particular substance found in many processed foods and drinks – fructose in the form of high fructose corn syrup."

Just over four months after Zayn Malik announced his decision to leave One Direction, the 22-year-old musician is revealing the real reason why he parted ways with the boy band.

Jay Z Signs Jerome Boateng to Roc Nation Sports

The hip-hop mogul just signed one of Europe’s hottest soccer players, Jerome Boateng, to his management company.
Boateng is a defender for Bayern Munich, one of Germany’s best teams. The 26-year-old becomes the first soccer star and European to join the Roc Nation Sports family, which includes athletes such as Kevin Durant, Victor Cruz, and Skylar Diggins.
They celebrated the deal at Jay Z’s 40/40 club in New York before continuing the party at Hov’s private villa. “I took my sister and my best friend,” Boateng told German newspaper Welt am Sonntag. “It was a great day with Jay Z. We could ask him anything.”
They bonded over their love for music and sports. “We mostly talked about music and [soccer]. Jay Z knows about [soccer] and has watched numerous games,” said Boateng.

Eight-year-old, Zion Harvey is making history as the first person to ever receive a double hand transplant. When Harvey was two-years-old, he developed a serious infection that resulted in the removal of his hands and feet. That never stopped him from doing anything. “When I get those hands, I will be proud of what hands I get,” Harvey graciously told ABC News.
Philadelphia doctors performed the miracle after having a team of 40 doctors practice on cadavers. 12 of those surgeons performed the procedure at The Children’s Hospital In Philadelphia in 11 hours.

Papers filed for visitation last month, asking for one day a week.Papers’ publicist Tasha Hilton says he isn’t trying to take her, he just wants to see her, and he’s not trying to make a spectacle of the situation, but Kim isn’t playing fair. Kim didn’t show up for their July 9 hearing, and instead, filed her own suit accusing Papers of beating her up. Papers insists that things never got physical during their relationship, and that Kim’s suit is a ploy to further prevent him from seeing their child.
“She’s playing really dirty now with the domestic situation,” Hilton said. “There has never been any domestic violence.”
Papers and Kim will go before a North Jersey family court judge this week on the domestic violence allegations. Their relationship, according to Hilton, had been plagued with drama over infidelity. However, at the moment, Hilton said his primary concern is their daughter despite any problems he may have with Kim. He doesn’t want his daughter to grow up without him in her life.

It’s not Detox, but Dr. Dre—perhaps rap’s greatest tease—is on the verge of releasing a new album, according to Ice Cube.
In an interview with Philadelphia radio station Power 99 (via Billboard), Cube details plans for the soundtrack to the forthcoming N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton. Alongside the film’s director F. Gary Gray, he revealed that the companion project would be comprised of new music from Dre.
“Dre is dropping an album inspired by the Compton movie. He’s dropping something on August 1,” said Cube.

"Having been alerted to the cruel practices endured by crocodiles during their slaughter for the production of Hermès bags carrying my name … I have asked Hermès Group to rename the Birkin until better practices responding to international norms can be implemented for the production of this bag," 68-year-old Birkin said.
