Drake Denies Dissing Kanye West, Claims His Rolling Stone Cover Was Bumped for Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Drake is stone-cold mad at Rolling Stone.
The rapper took to Twitter on Thursday to lash out at the magazine for publishing quotes allegedly made by him that take a swipe at Kanye West's Yeezus album in its upcoming issue, which features Philip Seymour Hoffman on the cover.
"I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone," Drake tweeted, while also claiming the magazine "took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue."
Drake then added, "I'm disgusted with that. RIP to Philip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil."
The 27-year-old artist continued to vent, writing, "I'm done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That's the only way my message gets across accurately."
When E! News reached out to Rolling Stone, the magazine said, "We stand by our reporting."
