GQ To Delve Into Actual Retail Locations.

Idris Elba for GQ October 2013
• GQ is pretty much the authority on men’s style, and now, the magazine is trying to turn its hip aesthetic into actual retail locations. The first of these efforts is a pop-up shop in partnership with Northern Grade, which will sell menswear products at the powerHouse Arena in Brooklyn’s DUMBO district. The market will carry clothes by designers like Billy Reid, Giles & Brother, and Noble Denim. But this venture isn’t the end of efforts to expand into the retail market. But GQ publisher Chris Mitchell says that the magazine is also exploring brick-and-mortar and e-tail possibilities for the future. (WWD)
