17 Confirmed Dead in May Day Nyanya-Abuja Bombing.

On Worker’s Day, it was reported that another bomb blast had occurred in Nyanya, Abuja.

As of 9pm yesterday, 17 have been confirmed dead, but the death toll is expected to rise, as corpses were still being counted when reports were made, Vanguard reports.

The bombing which occurred as residents who attended May Day celebrations were returning home, took place at Wazobia Park, Nyanya, just opposite where the last attacks occurred.

According to eyewitnesses, a car bomb was the source of the explosions.
