Happy Monday all you fab readers! The celebs are slowly, but definitely
leaving isolation and seeking sunlight. And without a doubt, they’re
doing so in their most fashionable garbs. From BET Awards happenings to
day parties and strolls around cities, these starlets spared no
sidewalk in hopes of capturing that perfect Instagram snapshot. But
whose style made out hearts sing, and who didn’t…hmm…find their note?
Let’s take a look!Leading the pack is LeToya Luckett, who stunned at the Pre BET Awards
Dinner in a nude Datari Austin gown. The cut outs at the sides and the
backless feature gave just enough to make jaws drop in approval. And
this copper Lois Lane-esque bob? Hot!
Eudoxie was also on tap for the pre award festivities looking chic in a sleek black pant suit, white top and black sandals.
Elle Varner was quite the dainty little confection in a high collared Marc Bouwer
butterfly printed pencil dress. While the dress left a lot to the
imagination, I believe her personality made this frock pop even more.
It’s growing on me more than a new pair of shoes.
Naturi Naughton was a beauty in blue, also donning Michael Costello for
the night’s event. The color really pops on her skin tone and the
carpet. And the bow detailing at the side added just the right amount
of flair.
Holding it down for the guys on the red carpet was singer and
up-and-coming heartthrob Trevor Jackson. All black everything was his
choice for the awards, but his ensemble definitely left a good
impression. He wore an Ashton Michael blazer, Les Benjamins jeans, a Control Sector T-shirt and Louis Leeman loafers. The perfect mix of suave and swag, no?
June Ambrose was snapped in a New York City subway station wearing an
adorably sequined dress with a caricature of the legendary Karl
Lagerfeld. A wide brimmed fedora and her infectious smile completed
this fun and funky look.
Shaniece Hairston has really been serving it all for the girls to take
in these past few weeks. On the weekend, a different story couldn’t
have been told. Wearing a blue lace Alexis dress, Givenchy sandals, and a Victoria Beckham clutch, she gave us salsa dancer realness. I’m feeling it.
And last, but not least, is fashion editor Esther Quek, who skulked
around the city of Milan during men’s fashion week. Mixing masculine
tailoring with feminine accents, Esther wore an Alice & Olivia blazer, a Mango blouse, Zara shorts, an Ethan K clutch and Prada shoes. I love the all white ensemble with splashes of blue, especially with those Karen Walker sunglasses. Hot!
