Fashion Scoop: Pharrell and Cara Delevingne Perform For Chanel, Katy Perry Goes Short, Olivia Palermo Releases First Handbag


  • It seems that Karl Lagerfeld is still enamored with Cara Delevingne and Pharrell.  When the designer brought Chanel stateside for a re-showing of his December fashion show, the pair appeared on stage for a performance. The song “CC The World” was first heard in the short film Chanel released last year featuring Pharrell and Cara. (Dazed Digital)

  • At the Fashioin 2.0 Awards, Rebecca Minkoff won big. The designer took home awards for Best Interactive Retail as well as Top Innovator.  Other winners you may be familiar with: Marc Jacobs won Best Online Campaign for their “Cast Me Marc” initiative and Net-A-Porter won Best E-Commerce.   • It seeems everyone is going short in terms of hair this year. While most are opting for some sort of bob Katy Perry went shorter. The pop star said she asked her hairstylist for the Kris Jenner. We’ve got to say Katy, joke or not, it’s not a bad look. (Teen Vogue)

  • Versace is being accused of knocking of an LA based artist. KESH says she’s planning to sue the Italian brand after realizing they knocked off a piece she made for American Apparel in 2013. KESH’s original version was available for $30 but the Versace version is up for $650. (StyleBlazer)

  • Olivia Palermo is launching the latest in her growing fashion brand through yet another collaboration. After doing shoes and sunglasses, the former reality star is stepping into handbags via a collaboration with Aspinal of London .The limited edition tote also features a built-in port for phone and iPad charging.
