Nelly was arrested on grounds of felony drug and gun
possession charges in Putnam County, Tennessee on Saturday morning.
State trooper Michael Loftis investigated the rapper’s
tour bus after he had noticed a lack of important bumper stickers such
as the U.S. Department of Transportation and International Fuel Tax
Association. Once the trooper was closer to the bus, he smelled
marijuana and went on to discover that Nelly and five of his associates
had more marijuana and also methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and
handguns, including a “gold-plated” 50-caliber Desert Eagle Pistol.
