The trend first found favor last year when street-style stars started sporting the shoe. Sure, the platforms could be considered eccentric—with so many design elements—but it also incorporates all the components of good kicks: height, traction, classic detailing, trendy accents and luxury materials. The platforms now also come in wedge, metallic, cut-out and more options—to the delight of fashion-forward celebs everywhere, from Kendall Jenner to Beyoncé and Janelle Monáe, who were recently wearing some iteration of the brand's shoes.
The sturdy stomper could be your go-to shoe of the season, if you can afford the hefty price tag (which starts around $900 and upwards), that is.
