




Cozy fur hoodies were among the pieces we wanted to pull straight off of the runway and onto our backs, while platform creepers, knit beanies, graphic tights, and printed caps were among the functional accents that will fly off the racks instantaneously.




The Addams family going to the gym was Rihanna’s inspiration for the collection: not something that would ever come to fruition in the fictive universe, but definitely something Wednesday and Pugsley would sport in 2016. The designs were equal parts streetwear, athleisure, and rebellious fashion.




Swag was on high (in true Rihanna fashion) and the pieces were functional, but not at all safe: a very tricky balance that isn’t easily achieved, especially not by most in their debut offerings. A slew of trends and fads were incorporated without making the assemblage feel like one big fad—another not-so-easy accomplishment carried off effortlessly by Rihanna.
