Kim Kardashian's hubby was by her side during the entire red carpet extravaganza, but when it came to answering a few questions about the star-studded event, the rapper's lips remained unusually sealed. Rarely one to shut down an opportunity to be heard, the Life of Pablo artist kept it low-key in the background while Kim chatted with E! News' Zuri Hall.
Only when the Balmain-wearing father of two was asked to comment on the inspiration behind his bold silver contact lenses did he give his two cents. Or one cent.
"Vibes," West responded.
While other celebrities gushed about the incredible fashion moments or how excited they were to be seated next to their BFFs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Kanye did the opposite, outdoing himself once again with a total mic drop moment. (Which is actually downright presidential these days!)
And with that, Anna Wintour and the Costume Institute may already be thinking about next year's theme.
