Vogue Paris To Start A Fashion Fund.

• Vogue Paris is starting a fashion fund of its own… but not to help new designers. The French Fashion Bible is partnering with Paris’s Palais Galliera museum to raise money in order to help support clothing and fashion photography exhibitions. “Many international editions of Vogue, including the American, British, Italian, and Indian Vogue already have initiatives to back young creation,” Vogue Paris publisher Delphine Royant told WWD. “But young designers already get support in France…. It is in Vogue Paris’ DNA to give access to creation to the public.” The Palais Galliera will receive a yearly €137,417 grant, and Vogue will hold an annual fundraiser to benefit the project during couture fashion week. The first one will go down July 9th. (WWD)
