• Hindu leaders are urging Mara Hoffman to recall all swimwear bearing the image of Lord Ganesh, their god of wisdom. Hindu statesman Rajan Zed released a statement, explaining that Ganesh is meant to be respected and worshipped in a state of reverence, not plastered on trendy clothes for over $200 a pop. Zed urges Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, and Amazon.com to recall any and all Mara Hoffman Ganesh swimwear, out of respect for the millions of practicing Hindus around the world.
