Speculations Arise Around The Solange Jay Z Elevator Fight.

• The internet is still trying to make sense of the video footage released yesterday of Solange Knowles attacking Jay Z in the elevator at the Standard Hotel after last week’s Met Gala. What did Jay say to set Solange off? Why was Beyoncé just standing there? These are mysteries on par with “is it chicken or fish?” and “Where’s Waldo?” Well, Page Six has some insight about the goings-on leading up to the big blowup. A source told the rag that Solange was pretty drunk and “belligerent” (happens to the best of us), and was popping off on quite a few people that evening. “Solange had too much to drink and was out of it by the time the performances started after the dinner at the Met Ball—she was dancing like a crazy person,” the source dished. Apparently, after all this wild dancing, Solo got into an argument with designer Rachel Roy. When another partygoer tried to hop in to intervene between Solo and Roy (who were Met Gala dates back in 2012!), asking Solange “What’s your problem?”, Beyoncé stepped in to tell the guest, “You don’t get to speak to my sister that way,” before attempting to leave the Boom Boom Room.
