Turn up the music because one of the best awards shows of the year is finally here!
After much anticipation, the 58th Annual Grammy Awards has arrived allowing the biggest names in rock, rap, Top 40, country and more to celebrate the best of the very best.
Like years' past, the broadcast promises to bring wild red carpet looks, surprise winners and the unforgettable collaborations you only see on Grammy night.
Before you bust out the popcorn, warm up your singing voice and put on your dancing shoes, we're taking a look at seven things that may just be the talk of the town once the final award is handed out. Without further ado, who's ready to rock?
4. Honoring a Legend: Just a few weeks after the passing of David Bowie, the Grammys will pay tribute to the "Modern Love" singer with the help of the one and only Lady Gaga. After slaying the National Anthem at last weekend's Super Bowl, Mother Monster will perform an "experiential" tribute for late rock star, who will also be receiving a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award. "We had already booked Lady Gaga on this year's show, but when David passed—almost in a single moment—we knew we had to change direction," Grammys executive producer Ken Ehrlich said in a statement. "We immediately spoke and agreed that she should be the one to honor David. She's perfect for it."
6. Kanye Watch: While nobody really knows if Kanye West will bring any drama to the awards show, host LL Cool J is trying to prepare for anything. "Anything is possible," he joked to E! News' Sibley Scoles just a few days before the show. "He might come running at me, I might get nervous and run offstage."
7. Stuck on Lionel: Did you ever expect Demi Lovato, John Legend, Meghan Trainor and Luke Bryan to be performing together at the same time? It's the power of Lionel Richie guys! In honor of the "All Night" singer, this talented foursome will deliver an unforgettable collaboration. And yes Lovatics, Demi is singing "Hello."
