The
collection that debuted by J. Crew Fall 2016 was one with a healthy mix
of wardrobe staples and signature pieces aesthetically reminiscent of
the brand. Bright colors and a classy urban-chicness complimented the
entire runway as pieces looked to be worn as separate pieces or
collectively for a bundled yet elegantly matched way.
With
pink as the main cornerstone color of the collection, chunky cable-knit
sweaters, culottes and mix-matched prints chased through the entire
premise of clothing available. Pajama-inspired trends prevailed in this
collection, with looks that remained ahead of the game as far as
trendiness, versatility and color.
Expert
tailoring accompanied many of the looks with featured blazers and
trench-coats, reminding audiences that warmness is definitely a factor
to being chic. Floral blazers under camel and brown trench coats
complimented outfits built with layering pieces, as well as the
restructured idea of the woman’s power suit in shades of grey and pink.
Clean hemlines accompanied all outfits, along with colorful prints and
textures for accessories and shoe wear.
All in all, the collection was an amazing pop of color needed for cold winter days and nippy Fall mornings. What do you think of J. Crew’s latest Fall collection?
