Caitlyn Jenner knows how to strike a pose.
E! News has the exclusive first look at the promotional photo shoot for her docu-series, I Am Cait, premiering August 2 at 9 p.m. on E! In the elegant shot above, the 65-year-old icon turns her back to the camera while modeling a floor-length black gown that features a cinched waist and a lace back. With her hair in a messy up-do and her nails painted pink, Jenner looks more confident than ever before.
Jenner's confidence radiates from within, of course.

Since revealing to Diane Sawyer (and a whopping 19 million viewers) that she is transgender, Jenner has often said that she finally feels "free" to be her true self.
(Last month, Caitlyn Jenner chose to identify publicly as a woman and E! News will refer to her using female pronouns. In stories published before this date, she was referred to as Bruce Jenner and male pronouns were used.)

Indeed, as the Olympic gold medalist explained in Vanity Fair's July issue, "To be able to wake up in the morning, be yourself, get dressed, get ready to go out and just be, like, a normal person—that's a wonderful feeling to go through life. I've never been able to do that; It's always been confusion. It's always been, you know, I've got one side [of the closet with] boy clothes, the other side's women's clothes. It's like I cleaned the whole closet out—the boys stuff is gone, OK?"
In the same story, Jenner also explained the purpose of I Am Cait.
Regarding the inevitable criticism she will face for filming her journey, she said, "I'm not doing it for money. I'm doing it to help my soul and help other people. If I can make a dollar, I certainly am not stupid. [I have] house payments and all that kind of stuff. I will never make an excuse for something like that. Yeah, this is a business...[but] you don't go out and change your gender for a television show."

Jenner hopes that I Am Cait will inspire people to live their truths.
"So many people go through life and they've never had to deal with their own issues—no matter what those issues are," she said in the show's first promo. "Ours happen to be about gender identity, but how many people go through life and waste an entire life because they never deal with themselves—to be who they are?"
I Am Cait Premieres August 2 at 9 p.m., only on E!
