At the mall? Boom. Minion. Walking down the street? Boom. Minion. Watching any YouTube video? Boom. Minion. Going to the bathroom in the middle of the night? Boom. Minion. There is no escaping them.
But now we can officially say the marketing team behind Minions has gone too far. They actually released a giant inflatable Minion onto innocent people in Ireland and laughed as it rolled and terrified the pristine, gorgeous Irish countryside!*
*Obviously this wasn't a marketing ploy. But c'mon…those Minions are seriously taking over the world.
Only in Dublin would a giant #Minion block the road pic.twitter.com/B0A63SPHI4

Thankfully, no-one was hurt when a giant Minion flew across the road in Santry, north Dublin: http://t.co/IjQ5TDdJpC pic.twitter.com/yuFEiLv6QY

"I'm not sure how it got loose but I just saw it coming
loose and flying across the road as we were driving," witness Erin Van
Londen told The Journal.
"I actually rang the gardaí. It was quite an odd thing to have to
report. They came and sorted it all out. They deflated it on the road
and then they ended up having to get a wheelbarrow to get it out of the
way."Sure, but when we try and call the police because we couldn't bear to see one more Minion banner on the side of a city bus, we're "crazy" and "not reporting an actual emergency" and "making a scene."
"Fairground events and festivals are really important in bringing footfall to our city villages but even the smallest events have health and safety conditions," Cllr Paul McCauliffe said in a statement. "I have asked the Council to provide me with a report on the incident and for the operators of the fairground to be interviewed by council officials."
Did anyone interview the Minion? We have just one question for it and all Minions everywhere:
HOW DARE YOU?
