Hey all! Hope everyone had a fabulous 2015 and have gotten a headstart to having an even greater 2016. While a few of our favorite starlets are probably recovering from celebrating the new year in grand style, others hit the ground running and got right back to work. But how did the style measure up? Let’s take a look!
First up is Jennifer Lopez, who snapped a selfie before heading back to work after celebrating the new year. The multi-hyphenate looked effortlessly chic in a tan fedora, large hoop earrings, fur coat and a fierce Versace purse. Hot, Slay-Lo!
Lala Anthony spent some time with family over the weekend. She decided to keep things a bit muted with a gray sweater, leggings, and gray suede boots, all uplifted with a white fur coat. A very chic, casual look, especially when you don’t want to spend hours getting ready.
Rita Ora was the cat’s meow in Miami. Before celebrating the new year, the singer posted a pic while wearing a cheetah print dress; sitting on a tiger-striped couch, no less. Very sassy.
Jazmine Sullivan performed in Philadelphia on New Years Eve. Aside from shutting it down (as per usual), she brought new meaning to “cool” in boyfriend jeans, long hair, and a sequined, elongated blazer made by her stylist, Marquette. So excited to see what they new year is gonna bless us with from her.
Ashanti took her new years celebrations to Jamaica. She competed with the island heat in this saucy number. She brought in 2016 in a Mani Jassal crop top and a fringe skirt by Zenep Erdogan. Just…yes! Her ensemble fit her perfectly, not to mention how great she looked against a tropical backdrop. Hot!
And last, but not least, is Tia Mowry-Hardrict. She snapped a quick pic for the ‘Gram before date night, and looking fly while doing so. A long, white Stone Cold Fox coat, American Apparel leotard, distressed Zara jeans and red Steve Madden sandals were on the menu for Tia. And she cane with the full course. I love how effortlessly she can make any fast fashion brand look more expensive than it really is. Hot!
