Solange Is Proud In Pink Rocking A Saint Heron Collaboration

Instagram media by saintrecords - It looks like I'm wait'n for you at the doe...but I'm actually backstage at the legendary Minton's Jazz Club in Harlem celebrating all the incredible work the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans does for/in the city with the beautiful @cleowade for the New Yorkers for New Orleans benefit. Thank you for having be be apart of such a beautiful night to support the arts in a city that has given me such endless inspiration on my own artistic journey. Dress: @saintheronshop Jewels: @lorraineschwartz and @ofirajewelz
Solange Knowles revealed via Instagram that a few years ago she was frustrated with the way the stories of black artists and creatives, including her own, were being told. In the lack of poor representation of “us,” Saint Heron was birthed.
“As [insert cheese emoji]-y as it sounds…I want to be clear. Saint Heron is not me. Saint Heron is you, & it’s us.” ~ Solange
The creative maven declared that Saint Heron is a community and that it’s building and will continue to build.

The Saint Heron Shop is here and Solange proudly wore Phelmuns x Saint Heron dress from the e-commerce store last night in Harlem, New York. She paired the dress with a nylon necktie that’s a cross between an ascot and a belt, providing a definite conversation piece to anyone who wears it. A statement by Solange!  The best part about this piece? It’s only $22! This entire look reflects Solange’s love for color and illustrates her trendsetting style.
She paired the dress with a sexy up-do that she playfully let down in a video to fans. Her barely there makeup showed off her naturally beautiful face. Looking at her in these videos she looks just like her big sister Beyoncé. She wore a mix between Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira jewels: her drop earrings were perfect with green jewels wrapped in diamonds.

The entire look was feminine, yet funky and exuded Springtime vibes.
Kudos to Solange for utilizing her platform to build a movement for artists!
