Inside Tamar Braxton's Sudden Departure From The Real

The Real
There sure is a lot of chatter surrounding Tamar Braxton's departure from The Real.
Ever since news broke that the co-host would not be returning for the talk show's third season, many questions remain for loyal fans.
But in a new video posted on Facebook, Loni Love is shining some light on what happened behind-the-scenes before the announcement was made.
"I got a group text from Tamar. She says I think, I heard I'm being fired. First person to answer was Tamera [Mowry-Housley]," the comedian shared. "I woke up from my nap and I answered about an hour later. I immediately called her, I said what are you talking about? She didn't pick up. I ended up texting her asking what was going on."
Loni later had the opportunity to ask higher ups why Tamar wasn't returning to the show. Their response? "They told me basically it's none of my business."
"When we wrapped our show for season two, we had a photo shoot. Tamar was a part of that," Loni explained. "We were planning on going to Essence. She was part of that. There was no indication that Tamar was going to be let go…We genuinely all like each other."
In a statement to E! News this past weekend, a show rep confirmed that Tamar and The Real "mutually decided that Tamar would not be continuing with the show for its upcoming season."
"She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career," the statement read. "Everyone associated with The Real appreciates Tamar's efforts and the contributions she has made to the show's success, and we wish her all the best for the future."
According to a source, however, Tamar is "very difficult to work with" and is "constantly having tantrums" and is nasty to producers.

Over the weekend, Tamar shared on Instagram that she was taking a short break from all social media. In her last post, however, the singer hinted that there was some drama in her life.
"I love u all but I have been stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted (not my man or my sisters). I am not about to be tried and tested to snitch," she wrote. "But know that every one who smiles in your face is NOT your friend and is NOT cheering for you and will LIE and try and tear u down to TRY and dim your light."
As for the rest of Tamar's co-hosts including Adrienne Bailon and Jeannie Mai, Loni assures fans that everyone in some way has tried to contact her. In fact, all four ladies have posted on social media expressing their love and friendship for their former co-worker.
Ultimately, Loni has her co-host's back and assures fans that bond you saw everyday at the table was real.
"My concern is for Tamar. I'm trying to give her some time but I will not stop calling her. I will not stop trying to get in touch with her," she shared on Facebook. "It's just devastating for all of us. I still don't know what happened. I don't want to believe it."
