Khloé Kardashian faced a lot of personal struggle in 2013, culminating in her decision to file for divorce from her husband of four years, Lamar Odom.
Speaking out for the first time since ending her marriage, the 29-year-old reveals in an exclusive interview with Cosmopolitan UK  that she is "excited" for this year to be over.
"I love the new year, new beginnings," the E! star says in the February 2014 issue. "I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with…You only live once so let's make that one time perfect. We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out in life."

As for the choices she has made throughout her life, the fashion designer expresses she does not have any regrets.
"My life has made me who I am at this moment and I'm very happy with who I am," the brunette beauty explains. "No matter if it's great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly; it happens and it makes you you. Life is about how you process things."
Kardashian divulges that she is already making some New Year's resolutions, and they include some bold new fashion choices to proudly flaunt her 30-pound weight loss.
"I've worked very hard on my body so I think now I can sex it up a little!" she dished to the mag. "My 2014 mission is to wear a crop top with jeans. I've never done that so it has to happen one day."

But like most women, Kardashian didn't always have a positive body image. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star discloses she refused to get a nose job despite her mom Kris Jenner and makeup artists advising otherwise.
"Words are the most powerful weapon; they can leave scars forever," Kardashian says. "She didn't mean harm, but when I was around nine I overheard my mom telling her friend I needed a nose job. I was shocked; I hadn't even thought about it. I've grown into my face but I've had makeup artists tell me, ‘You should get a nose job.' I'm so happy that I never have."
Kardashian adds that she is "proud" that she lost the weight without opting to go under the knife.
"I'm not against it—one day I probably will but it would be on my terms," she says. I won't be bullied into it by social media or anyone else. I love my body and always have."
As for her family life, Kardashian opens up about the death of her father Robert Kardashian as well as her desire to "keep his memory alive" and "make him proud."
"It's strange to say but I do think my family is closer because of what happened," she explains. "If he were here, we might be a little more lazy because we'd have the luxury to be that way," she adds. "I still have his Ralph Lauren button-up shirt hanging in my closet, and I have this monkey that was his when he was a boy."
Kardashian gushes about the newest member of her famous family, sister Kim Kardashian's daughter North West, as well as the precious baby's father Kanye West.
"Kanye is such an awesome dad, and he's so opinionated and passionate. North is only five-and-a-half months old but you can see she has opinions and a strong personality already," she says. "I'm kind of nervous to see what she's like when she's older but I think she'll be incredibly confident because Kim and Kanye are."
