Sass & Bide Pre-Fall 2014.
2013 was a pretty momentous year for Aussie brand Sass & Bide. Brains behind the label Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke returned to New York Fashion Week, opened their first international flagship store in the Big Apple’s trendy SoHo neighborhood, and garnered some more celeb and editorial traction. They clearly intend to make 2014 an even bigger year, as the brand really injects even more glamour and luxury into their Pre-Fall 2014 offerings with loads of shimmer, metallics, and party-ready attire that their legion of global fans will be sure to love.
Check more of the collection below:
Sensuality is at play from the jump with plunging necklines and thigh-baring silhouettes. Art Deco-inspired prints add a dose of retro allure to sharp and modern designs, along with the collection’s poignant strappy leather and mesh pumps.
Even more razzle-dazzle is infused into the pieces with beaded embellishment, voluminous silhouettes, and simple yet chic turban headwraps. The charm of a gold, woven-inset jumpsuit cannot be denied, while crystal-emblazoned LBDs and blazers will work perfectly everywhere from the office to a stylish soirée.
Birds of paradise add an exotic and organic vibe to the selection on glittering t-shirts, cropped tops, glossy trousers, and the aforementioned turbans which give a nod to the last remnants of Summer.
For ladies with a penchant for more pared-down looks, there are an array of denim and jogger styles. Naturally, the casual ensembles are still imbued with that glamorous feel with plush wrap dresses layered over them, cutout heels dressing them up a bit, and wool capes juxtaposing that downtown cool with refinement.
Celebs including Nicole Scherzinger, LaLa Anthony, and Lianne La Havas all opted for the brand’s frocks this year and they will certainly delight in the high-low and asymmetric gowns here. From simple white numbers with gold woven shoulders to relatively covered dresses with slit sleeves, these three ladies and many more will certainly have their pick for red carpet events and television appearances.
