Essence Magazine held their 8th annual star studded luncheon in LA.
Take a look at the fly attendees:

Kelly Rowland looked adorable in white lace separates.

Tia Mowry worked a vintage suit inspired jumpsuit, Stuart Weitzman Nudist sandals, and a Nancy Gonzalez clutch.

Vicky Jeudy slipped on a metallic caped look.

Chanel Iman looked gorgeous in a blue striped dress by Jonathan Simkhai.

Danielle Brooks uplifted a white dress with pink embellished sandals.

White was a popular color for the event! Tracee Ellis Ross looked elegant in a flirty Reed Krakoff dress.

Teyonah Parris had one of my favorite looks of the event in a green Kimberly Goldson suit and a Deepa Gurnani clutch.

Regina King looked spring like and fresh faced in a Son Jung Wan floral top and a silver pencil skirt.

Also ushering in Spring was Uzo Aduba. I love this floral frock!

Laverne Cox opted for a mesh top and a pleated navy skirt.

I loved Ava Duvernay in green paisley.

Samira Wiley showed off her abs in a leaf printed Spring 2015 look by Azede Jean-Pierre.

An LBD always works, as witnessed by actress Lorraine Toussaint.

Garcelle Beavais’s still got it! She looked amazing in a black and white jumpsuit.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw looked adorable in a blue floral dress.

Holly Robinson Peete also slipped on blue and white tones in a collared coat and abstract printed skirt.

Shonda Rhimes sidled up to soft pink tones. She looked great!

A lacy white top and a satin A-Line skirt were the call for Niecy Nash.

Common represented, as he does, in a tailored gray suit.

John Legend also represented for the fellas in white and black.

And lastly, David Oyelowo looked sharp in a tailored tux.
