The Kardashian Klan’s fashion world domination continues with the latest victory for Kendall Jenner.Vogue just announced they will be granting the model of the moment her own special issue!
Long gone are the days when Anna Winter scoffed at the thought of using reality stars as cover girls. We can thank sister Kim for breaking that glass ceiling, as she was the first to land a Vogue cover back in April 2014.
However, Jenner is truly one upping Kim with this special issue. The glossy will come polybagged with Rihanna’s April issue of Vogue and contains 52-pages of Jenner focused content. The issue will only be sent to LA and New York subscription holders.
Inside the issue, there is both brand new content in addition to recycled coverage. The first pages are devoted to a new editorial of the model in the latest spring looks shot by Mario Testino.
There is also a feature on Jenner’s “brand.” The story follows the model around NYFW and seeks insight on the Jenner factor from industry influencers like Karl Lagerfeld and Tory Burch. It also focuses on her insane social media influence- she has 64 million followers and counting.
Carmelo Anthony makes a surprise appearance and shares his wisdom with Jenner on Terminal 23’s basketball courts.
Not so coincidentally, Estee Lauder is the only advertiser in the glossy. Jenner was recently named the face of the iconic beauty brand and has created an eye shadow palette.
Vogue has stressed this is purely an editorial issue with no sponsored content. They just love Jenner that much!
