Hey everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend, despite a ton of Golden Globes decisions that had you seething like me. But I digress. A chock full of celebs took part in last night’s festivities, but there were others elsewhere who were dressed to their nines and tens. Nevertheless, where some succeed sartorially, others…don’t. Let’s take a look at who knocked it out of the park and who fouled. First up on the roster is Cassie, who kept this one at arm’s length with Diddy after The Golden Globe Awards last night. Though Diddy may have been a presenter for last night’s affair, Cassie let her Michael Costello gown do the talking. Not entirely a fan of the peplum detail, but she still looked hot.
Future, Ciara, Victor Cruz and a guest sat front row at the Calvin Klein men’s fall 2014 show in Milan yesterday. Lovebirds Future and Ciara opted for matchy black ensembles: components of both I wasn’t on board with. Future’s shoe choice was, hmm… not so in line with the rest of his outfit. A sleek boot perhaps? I loved Ciara’s overcoat, but the length of her trousers was too long, especially for its slim silhouette. Victor Cruz went for a monochromatic look that actually worked here. And his overcoat is perfect for my wardrobe.
The Anthonys are going hard for the “Cutest Couple Award” in this pic as they sidled up to each other. Loved Lala’s natural makeup and her $1,050 Versace ‘Medusa’ medallion necklace.
ET host Rocsi Diaz hit up the DuJour Media party this weekend. With summer clearly on her mind, she opted for a yellow Zimmerman jumpsuit. The color was an impeccable choice for her skin tone. But hmm…, I felt the look was a little too casual, especially given Lupita Nyong’o's look at the same soiree. Would’ve loved her hair pulled back for this look so that her beautiful statement necklace could’ve been showcased more.
Christina Milian has been out and about lately, Platinum e-hooka in hand, no less. She kept it casual with a black blazer, denim top and jeans. She punctuated the look, though, with a fabulous Givenchy ‘Antigona’ purse in black and white. Cute look for Christina, and that purse is utter perfection.
Basketball star Chris Paul and his wife Jada hit up a Burberry event a few days ago. The lovely couple decided to match in green. I’m here for Jada’s two piece ribbed ensemble, especially the pencil skirt. CP3 looked dapper himself in a DSqaured2 Scottish plaid suit. Both, hot!
While we’re slightly on the topic of basketball fashionistadors, Lebron James posted this selfie while in New York City. Let me preface this by saying I absolutely adore his Han Kjøbenhavn winter wool trench coat. But his animal print 1-of-1 Lebron II sneakers? Hmm…a bit…ambitious. The zebra and leopard print just don’t mesh well for me here.
And last, but certainly not least, is Victoria Beckham, who was spotted somewhere skulking around town in all black everything. Her black, tiered overcoat, sunglasses, and clutch..all her namesake. Her look was completed with a pair of crocodile skin pumps. All black never looked this effortless and chic. Obviously, my best dressed for this week’s edition.
