Celebrity This Week In Cuteness.
Happy Scandal finale day! Yes, that is the new name for Thursday until next week.
NYC and UK is back to a chill after last week’s unusually warm temperatures, but not to fret: Spring will be back before we know it!
Celebrities weren’t phased by the arctic freeze as they bared their legs on red carpets, hit movie premieres in just suit jackets, and sported sandals to their hearts’ content. Let’s get into the week’s most stylish ensembles! Brandy tried on the colorblocking trend for size at the A Haunted House 2 LA Premiere in a Fausto Puglisi neon pink top, black waistband, and turquoise pencil skirt, offset by leopard t-strap pumps.
I have an affinity for Nasir Jones! He looked dapper at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival Premiere of Time Is Illmatic in a blue single-breasted suit. Hot!
Sharon Carpenter showed some midriff in a long-sleeve lace crop top, leather look pencil skirt, black tights, and cap-toe pumps.
I loved Adepero Oduye’s spin on overalls, though I would’ve preferred black pointed-toe pumps as anchors to her on-trend ensemble.
Danai Gurira had one of my favorite looks of the week at the Of Mice And Men Broadway Opening Night After Party, outfitted in a houndstooth swing dress, beige clutch, and a pair of chain link ankle-strap open-toe sandals. So cute!
Minka Kelly kept it simple, yet polished in all-black at the fête. This is one of my go-to looks for transitional dressing!
Leighton Meester stars in the play, thus she went glam in a navy Versace gown. You should all check out the play if you haven’t already — it’s brilliant!
What can’t Jay Z do? Like Nas, he was suited up in blue this week while making an announcement on the steps of City Hall Downtown Los Angeles for the Budweiser Made in America Music Festival on Labor Day Weekend.
Jourdan Dunn and David Agbodji were quite the stunning and stylish couple while traipsing through the streets of NYC for a photoshoot.
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge kept it classically chic at Winmalee Guide Hall in Winmalee, Australia in a $325 Diane von Furstenberg Patrice Dress. Her style is simple, but always on point.
Kate Upton had the perfect travel-ready look at LAX Airport in a long olive coat, chunky sweater, olive leather pants, jeweled loafers, and a Céline croc bag.
Closing out the week was Wendy Williams who looked cute and casual at the Barnes & Noble Tribeca Signing of her new book Hold Me In Contempt: A Romance in denim, gold mirror pumps, and that coveted $106 Brian Lichtenberg Homies Sweatshirt.
Whose look got your chic stamp of approval this week?
