In case you were curious to see what she looks like without makeup, Lady Gaga‘s untouched photos from her Versace ad campaign have surfaced on gagafreshnews.com, and she looks…well, different.
The ARTPOP star has been a spokesmodel for Donatella Versace‘s collection for a while and the advertisements that feature Gaga are just as glamorous and lavish as anyone could imagine. They feature her rocking long, blonde weave and lying on a couch, draped in high-end jewels and ladylike handbags. To be honest, Gaga looks like 58-year-old Donatella in the “before” versions (yikes!).

While we know celebs get plenty of retouching, it’s always a little surprising to see them photographed professionally without airbrush makeup or a contoured cheek. We applaud Gaga for remaining open to revealing all sides of fame — from the positive support she gets from fans to the grueling pressure to remain skinny — and this is the latest evidence that proves just how “Photoshopped” celebrity beauty is. The plastic surgery trend that young people are falling into after looking at photos that are altered to perfection is disturbing, but anything that can make people understand how fake celebrity glamour can be is good for all of us.
