The model formerly known as Andrej Pejic has now come out as a a transgendered woman and has amended her name to be Andreja Pejic. After undergoing sexual reassignment surgery, the Bosnian model will continue on with modeling — plans for fashion week are already in the works — and a fledgling acting career as she will appear in Sofia Coppola’s The Little Mermaid. She will be moving from the men’s model boards to the women’s boards, and hopes to land a beauty campaign at some point. (Style.com)
